It seems like just a week or so ago we were gearing up for the start of the school year. Time has flown by and we are beginning to talk about 8th graders transitioning to high school. The first thing we do is to talk about the three non-traditional high schools that our students have access to in our area, Discovery High School in Newton, Challenger Early College High School at CVCC, and Hickory Career Arts & Magnet High School in Hickory.
