I am originally from Marion, North Carolina and am a graduate of McDowell High School. I have degrees from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida and Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. My husband is also a teacher here at Northview. We have a baby boy, Gatlin, and a miniature schnauzer, Tucker. My hobbies include reading, traveling, taking long walks, and enjoying time with family.
