I am thrilled to be the band director at Northview Middle School!  This will be my 9th year teaching music.  Over my teaching career, I have taught elementary music, middle school band and chorus, elementary and middle theater, as well as private lessons to ALL age groups.  I graduated from Gardner-Webb University with a Bachelor’s in Music Education and a secondary degree in Psychology.

I reside in Lenoir with my husband and 12 year old daughter.  My husband is a band director in Caldwell County. My daughter is in 7th grade and plays the clarinet in her school band. My step-son is currently a junior at UNC Charlotte.

As we enter another year with Covid, I am hoping for the best and preparing for the worst.  It is my hope that we can have concerts and events as normally as possible while maintaining safety.
