Summer Remediation and Re-Testing:

This is NOT “Summer School” but rather an intensive program for students that were not grade-level proficient on End Of Grade (EOG) tests. Students earn the higher of the two EOG scores and that can have an impact on which classes they take an impact on other educational decisions. 

Since this program is not mandatory, parents must give written permission for their student to attend. Linked below are the Summer Remediation and Re-Test letter from the district and the required permission form. Please complete the permission form prior to May 7.

Summer School:

This is the six week, immersive summer school program. A number of students are in danger of not being promoted and need to attend Summer School in order to be able to go to the next grade level. Students that attend Summer School can improve their academic standing, learn required material, and develop necessary skills needed to be successful in the next grade. 

As with Summer Remediation and Re-Testing, this program is not mandatory and written parental permission is required. Identified students have met with our counselors and have been given information about their current standing as well as information about Summer School. Remote Students:

Students that are completely remote still have to come into the building for EOG tests.Please make sure that you see the Remote Students testing letter below. If your child is a remote student and needs transportation to come and test, please fill out the form below prior to May 7.

Inspired Learning will operate a new site at Morningstar Baptist Church. They have offered their facilities to Inspired Learning to use with students.
